Tips for installing and setting up a virtual desktop server

If you have not yet tried to prepare hardware including any server parts or zero client, be sure to employ the free advice of our experts.
Regarding the hardware, there are very important things that unfortunately most of the sellers and even experts are not aware of such details, we briefly mention some of them:

SSD must be used for more than 5 users.

For users more than 15 people, the type of SSD must be consulted with the technical department of the company (for each office user we need about 3000 IOPS and for each professional user we need about 4000 IOPS)
Never use manipulated ISOs to install Windows – be sure to use official and original ISOs.
Our recommendation is to use the latest version of Windows 10, which you can download and activate from digiboy.ir.
According to our experience (more than 16 years of experience) at the moment of writing this article, the available operating systems are as follows in terms of better performance in the field of virtual desktop:

Win 10 LTSB (this particular version of Windows 10 is the best operating system for servers)

Very important: If your server is virtual, do not install VW TOOLS at all.

Very important: Very important: regarding the installation of hardware drivers, make sure that only the hardware driver is installed alone and avoid installing additional programs that are always installed separately with the drivers (for example, by installing the graphics card driver, a number of additional programs others are also installed, avoid installing them)
The items mentioned above that should not be installed from the beginning and remember that if you install them, deleting them will not be useful and the operating system must be installed from the beginning.
After installing each hardware driver, even if the system itself does not display a message about restarting, be sure to restart the system and do not install multiple drivers at once and restart all at once or do not settle for a few of them.
By default, windows allow the use by one user, except in Windows Server, that is, when the second user enters, the connection of the first user will be disconnected, so to remove this limitation, download the guide file from the company’s website and exactly act accordingly.
After Windows is updated, the simultaneous access of several users to one Windows may be limited again, so if you encounter this problem, do step 9 again.
Installation and operation of the system at the remote customer’s location is free only once, and receiving additional services will require payment.
In all stages of installing drivers and applications, the firewall and antivirus of the system must be completely turned off.
Before installing the management console of zero clients, make sure that it is updated and the latest version.
Be sure to get the latest version of the management console (for example V Matrix) from the website and keep it up to date.
If you don’t do the V-Matrix installation steps correctly (regarding the selection of users’ personal space and inaccessible spaces for users), the system will not work properly. (Correcting the error will not work and the process of correcting the error will be very complicated, so we often ask customers who do this step incorrectly to reinstall the operating system).
Be careful about installing the antivirus, that you should install the antivirus at the last stage and after the system is ready and its stability is verified.
Windows 10 and later (10, 2016, etc.) do not need antivirus.
Do not use Kaspersky and Nod antivirus.
After starting the system and making it available to the users, be careful not to install the software in any way while the users are connected to the server. Note that it is not important to disconnect the users and all users must be logged off. (It is better to start the system before installing the program and do not allow users to enter, and after finishing the program installation, start the system again and make it available to users.
The amount of server RAM should be proportional to the number and type of users, and if the amount is not sufficient, strange things will happen.
The things mentioned above do not necessarily cause problems, that is, it is even possible that the system works properly for a long time, despite the non-observance of the above, and strange problems appear after a while.
Please keep in mind that if you do not comply with the above and start receiving support, in addition to not providing support, the priority of responding to you will also decrease in future support.

Before contacting the support unit, be sure to install the latest version of ANYDESK software on the server and give full access to it (it must be installed and do not use its portable version)

Note that failure to comply with the mentioned items may result in abnormal system behavior, which cannot be recognized as having occurred due to failure to comply with any of them.
